Chip

Sebastian

Introducing Chip! We thank our volunteers for giving this cutie his new name. Rescued from a shelter, Chip is a 2.5 year old intact boy examined by Dr .Amy Johnston at Grant Animal Clinic; he weighs 22.8 pounds and needs to lose 3 pounds. Chip is being treated for ear infections, has Stage 2 periodontal disease and will need a dental cleaning.

Upon rescue, we were told that he had a possible leg problem and had not been walking around much. At the exam, Chip was very fearful, timid and pancaked on the floor. Poor pup! To avoid further stress, he will have x-rays of hips and stifles done during neuter and dental cleaning. He has a small ingrown dew claw on the left hind leg and a dewclaw fragment on the right hind le,g all of which will be removed during the upcoming neuter and dental surgery. Chip is up to date on vaccinations. Lab work is normal.

We know his life just got better by being with us, let's send him a lot of love while we get him settled and comfortable in his foster home. He is not available for adoption yet. We love you Chip!
