Sierra

Riverview

The Sierra Nevada is part of the  American Cordillera, an almost continuous chain of mountain ranges (including Brooks Range) that forms the western "backbone" of the Americas. The Sierras include the largest tree by volume, the highest elevation (Mount Whitney) and largest alpine lake (Tahoe), plus Sierra is home to three national parks, 26 wilderness areas, ten national forests, and two national monuments…so many superlatives!

Our sweet Sierra is just as radiant, beautiful and superlative. Examined by Dr Mylinh Vo at Boyette Animal Hospital, Sierra is a six-year-old intact female weighing 19.2 pounds, a good weight for her. Sierra's eyes and heart are good. Sierra is being treated for bilateral ear infections and a UTI. Her labs, titers for distemper and parvo are pending. Sierra does have periodontal disease and will be scheduled for a dental and spay surgery. Feel better, sweetest Sierra. We will do everything we can to restore this beauty to health, joy and vitality.

This sweet pup is not available for adoption yet, but follow his fan page here: https://www.cavrescuefl.org/dogs/sierra
