Ryan

Meet spitfire Ryan, a puppy that seemingly gets stuck in go mode. Maybe he’s just that joyful soul that appreciates life too much, but maybe it’s because his life simply got SO much better recently! Ryan was born in a shelter, then he had a short time out in a failed adoption, only to come back to the shelter. Then he met CRF!

We can’t fathom who wouldn’t fight to keep this charmer, but then some people don’t know they’re not dog people until they try, we guess. Now, Ryan is a puppy, and puppies need some training. The good folks at the shelter taught him Sit, Come, and, wait for it, Dance! Yup, he’ll get up on hind legs and dance for a treat. I mean, the boy just oozes happiness and sheer delight that it is literally impossible not to smile!

Ryan, with a lusciously wavy Black and Tan coat, is smart and learning the rest of how to be that good boy. He’s prone to an occasional case of the zoomies, and sometimes his tail needs chasing. His favorite thing is his Kong and he’ll even toss it around himself.  The only thing faster than Ryan is the car, and he’s a fan.

This boy has such a bright, and fast, future! We’re so happy for you Ryan!

🐾 Circumstances: Born in a shelter.

🐕 Temperament: One ecstatic puppy!

❤️ Health: Ryan’s vetting shows his heart, ears and hips are good.  He’s being examined for some potential ophthalmological (eye) concerns, and we will continue his medical vetting.  Please check back for more pup-dates as we share his progress.  CRF microchips all rescues.

🏡 Forever Home Requirements:

✔️ Preferably an at-home adult most of the day.

✔️ No young children

✔️ Fenced yard for roaming and playtime required. 

✔️ Another like-sized pup companion required. No bigger dogs

✔️ House training in progress but will need commitment to continued training.

✔️ Commitment to daily walks/exercise to help maintain his health.

🚩If you do not check ALL of the above requirements, your application will not pass the screening process for consideration.  We do not compromise on these requirements as we feel they are essential to a successful adoption.
