Sweet Pierce is ready for his happily ever after.

Tri-colored Pierce is a handsome boy with a sweet expression, silky coat and dark curly ears. Pierce craves human companionship and will become your shadow. True to his breed, Pierce is a foodie. He enjoys frozen carrots and green beans – healthy snacks that have helped him lose some weight.  

Adorable Pierce has become less protective of his food and toys and will wait his turn for a treat. Active Pierce goes for several long walks a day. He has learned to ‘sit’ and ‘wait’ at the door. Pierce has mastered walking in a harness and greets everyone in the neighborhood. Pierce loves car rides, though he may need a few minutes to settle in. He is housebroken and sleeps soundly through the night in his crate.

Lovable Pierce has adjusted well to having his foster sibling around, but he would be fine as the only dog in the home. He is good with older, dog-savvy children. Friendly Pierce is eager to please and is comfortable with bathing and grooming. He loves people and makes a terrific companion.

🐶 Age: 8 years young.

👍🏻 Weight: Pierce currently weighs 20 lbs. after losing a few pounds and is well on his way to reaching his goal weight.

🐾 Circumstances: Shelter rescue.

❤️ Health: Pierce has been vetted and is in good health for his age. He had several teeth removed during dental surgery but has no trouble chomping on his veggies. He is also getting used to having his teeth brushed.

CRF microchips all rescues.

🏡 Forever Home Requirements:

✔️ Someone who is home most of the time but is looking for a walking buddy.

✔️Willingness to maintain a healthy weight.

✔️Commitment to patient and consistent training.
