Peyton

Well here comes puppy Peyton, all ten pounds bounding through the yard happily amongst his furry foster mates! And this young boy is discovering that life is wonderful as a rescue; there’s a houseful of toys and blankets and his mission is to scatter them into every room, just in case you need one here or there.

Give him ten minutes and you fall in love. Maybe it’s how he buries himself in the toy basket, wiggling away as he selects the one that’s hiding. Perhaps it’s how cute he is peeking at you from inside the bushes. But it only takes a breathless minute when he crawls into your lap and love blooms! Peyton took a little while to get comfortable enough for cuddling as he was skittish of people at first, even while immediately attaching himself to his foster siblings.

Though now he’s found all the love of the foster world irresistible.

However, it’s clear that we’re at the very beginning of puppy training, but this pup is full of potential. Shortly after transitioning into his foster home, Peyton’s getting the basics down (okay, with the help of a treat). He sleeps through the night in his crate (still his safe space) and the next morning, his endless puppy energy will find new adventures!

The only question is, will your house be Peyton Place?

🐾 Circumstances: Owner surrender.

🐕 Temperament: A born-again velcro pup!

❤️ Health: Overall healthy! Peyton is a petite, 9-month-old, neutered boy of 10 pounds – a good weight for his age. Peyton is being treated for some minor ear issues and will need a follow-up appointment soon. He is up to date on his vaccinations. CRF microchips all rescues.

🏡 Forever Home Requirements:

✔️ An at-home adult most of the day in an active, energetic home is required.

✔️ Fenced yard for roaming and playtime required. 

✔️ Another like-sized pup companion required. 

✔️ Commitment to daily walks/exercise to help maintain his health.

✔️ Patience and a commitment to continued training.

💸 Adoption Donation: $1400

🚩If you do not check ALL of the above requirements, your application will not pass the screening process for consideration.  We do not compromise on these requirements as we feel they are essential to a successful adoption.
