McKinley

Introducing McKinley, one of the Magnificent Six breeder surrender pups. Also known as Denali, meaning The Great One, sweet  McKinley is an adorable boy with a “mountain of love” to share.  

Handsome McKinley was a bit apprehensive when first coming into rescue. With the help of his foster family, he is learning to trust humans and acclimating to daily routines.

McKinley enjoys mealtimes, sleeping in his crate and on the sofa. He quickly learned how to play with toys and his foster sibling. McKinley walks well on a leash; however, sudden movements, loud noises and strangers can startle him. He also likes to chase all sorts of wildlife so keeping him secure will be important. 

Happy McKinley is described as smart, sweet and eager to please. But watch out, he will pick up objects and chew on them.

🐶 Age: Estimated to be 1 year old.

👍🏻 Weight: 29 lbs. 

🐾 Circumstances: Breeder surrender.

❤️ Health: As with all breeder surrenders there are common health issues to be addressed such as hookworms, rabies vaccinations and neuter surgery. Beyond needing a dental, McKinley is in good health. CRF microchips all rescues.

🏡 Forever Home Requirements:

✔️Commitment to additional training and socialization. 

✔️A fenced yard.

✔️Another friendly companion dog would be ideal.

💸 Adoption Donation: $1,200
