Kane

Greet Kane. True to his name, Kane is a little battler or warrior. Sadly, Kane arrived in shocking condition, clearly suffering from much neglect. With much loving care, Kane is gaining strength and starting to blossom. He has made great strides in a short period of time and is on the road to recovery.  ❤️

Though still adjusting to a household routine, easy-going Kane wants to be close to people. He’s a quick learner, eager to please. Kane is quite sociable and enjoys walks where he can meet other dogs and people. He’s great with his foster siblings and seems to enjoy cats as well. However, rain and thunderstorms are not on Kane’s list of favorite things.

Tri-color Kane is making real progress in learning manners and potty training. He prefers to sleep in a crate; it’s his safe spot but Kane loves to lie on the couch and watch TV (who doesn’t?). He’s also discovered that great things can be found in a toy box and that dog beds are a great place to lounge on during the day. All the comforts of home!

Though his past is heartbreaking, Kane is a warrior and has a bright future. His wish is to find a loving home where he can enjoy his senior years. Will you be the one to give Kane a new ‘leash’ on life?

🐾 Circumstances: Owner surrender.

❤️ Health: Kane has been vetted and has medical issues that are being addressed. Follow ups with cardiology, ophthalmology and dermatology will be necessary. He is up to date with vaccinations but will need a dental appointment once he’s feeling better. 

CRF microchips all rescues.

✔️ A patience and understanding household where someone is home most of the time. Young children are not advised.

✔️ Another friendly but confident dog for guidance and companionship.

✔️ Commitment to continued care and training.
