Derby

Adopted!

Welcome to sweet Derby! On Kentucky Derby Day, this very sweet boy had a very hectic arrival to rescue. He was saved after an altercation with a large dog and had to have emergency surgery to remove his eye. Poor thing! Despite that beginning - he has adjusted beautifully to having one eye and he has settled easily into his new life. Darling Derby is just happy with everything!

He loves to go on walks and gets excited if he sees another dog as he wants to go meet them. Derby loves FOOD and training treats~ very eager to learn and please; he is smart and learning basic commands.

He LOVES people and gets along great with other dogs. Derby is well behaved, loves a lap, cuddling and is a very happy-go-lucky pup.

At nighttime, Derby sleeps well in his crate at night and will go right into sleep, but with his most-adorable face and sweetest demeanor, he will prob find his way into the big bed soon.

He is doing great with housetraining and appreciates a lot of outdoor potty time.

Adorable Derby is such a special Cavalier and his furever family is going to be very lucky to have him as a part of their family in the ultimate Winner’s Circle.
