Benji & Rupert

Greet Benji and Rupert, two lovable big furry boys. And we do mean big – both are taller and longer in stature than most Cavs. More love to go around! These handsome boys are super sweet and sure to capture your heart.  ❤️

Keeping a schedule has helped Benji and Rupert settle in quickly. Feeding time is carefully monitored so these two don’t overeat. Outdoor time for play and potty coupled with regular walks have helped both boys lose a few pounds and gain some energy. In fact, Benji and Rupert love to be outside and have learned that playing with their foster siblings is a blast!

Walks have become a super fun activity as well. Blenheim Benji gets excited when he sees his harness and tends to have ‘happy talks’ while prancing around. Tri-colored Rupert stays close and wags his tail. Both are great with people and dogs they meet. True Cavaliers! 

This delightful dynamic duo will quickly become your shadow. When home alone they are left in a safe space with dog beds and do just fine. Sleeping through the night is something these two excel at. Benji wants to sleep in the bed with you while Rupert seems to prefer the floor next to the bed. Perhaps that will change over time. Soft snoring will be heard, but Rupert is the loudest of the two. LOL.

🐶 Age: Benji is 5 years old, and Rupert is 4.5 years old. 

👍🏻 Weight: Benji came into rescue at 42 lbs. and has a goal of 34 lbs. Rupert was 52 lbs. with a goal of 40 lbs.

🐾 Circumstances: Owner surrender.

❤️ Health: Beni & Rupert have been vetted and are in good health generally. Both have lost a few pounds but need to lose more to attain their ideal weight.

🏡 Forever Home Requirements:

✔️ Must be adopted together.

✔️ Willingness to ensure healthy weights are maintained.

✔️ Both enjoy being outdoors for extended periods of time so a fenced yard would be ideal.

🚩If you do not check ALL of the above requirements, your application will not pass the screening process for consideration. We do not compromise on these requirements as we feel they are essential to a successful adoption.
