Ava

Introducing adorable Ava. This smudge-faced Blenheim is as cute as can be! If you have been following her story, Ava is a survivor of a breeder situation and her sweet soul needs time to heal. Understandably Ava is very timid and shy but with the help of her foster mom and fur-sibling Jade, she is gradually coming out of her shell. One baby step at a time!

Darling Ava is a foodie and a good eater. Ava enjoys being in the yard and when she comes inside, she patiently waits for a treat. She loves her treats and foster mom is willing to oblige. Though initially afraid of being held, Ava will cuddle for a few moments. Yet another positive step forward! Ava does prefer to sleep in her crate and settles in well at bedtime. 

Initially Ava was very fearful of men and young children. Through careful introductions, Ava is slowly warming up. More baby steps! Walking on a leash seems to be a new endeavor for Ava, one she decidedly does not enjoy. Stay tuned for more on that subject. Ava is housebroken and uses the backyard to potty.

Loveable Ava has made good progress; her spirit is healing. Her journey may take a while, but she will be given all the time she needs. Let’s send this girl a lot of ‘paws-ative’ healing energy

❤️ Health: Though Ava has been vetted, she will be assessed over time to ensure she gets all the care she needs.
