Audrey

Meet adorable Audrey.  This tri-colored senior is settling into her new surroundings well and slowly coming out of her shell. She is a bit shy around her foster siblings but is learning that interacting with them can be a lot of fun. Playtime! Audrey enjoys a good walk, albeit at a slower pace. She loves to explore the great outdoors but not one to play with toys.

True to her breed, Audrey loves being near her humans. You’ll find her sleeping on the floor near you as she loves a good nap. She also enjoys belly rubs and snuffles softly while being scratched. Music to your ears. 

“Chill” is another word to describe Audrey. She likes car rides and will go with the flow on whatever adventure you have in mind. She is housebroken and a quiet house guest. However, Audrey is a snacker and enjoys her treats, especially things like cheese.    

Though her past is a bit of a mystery, Audrey is on the road to enjoying her golden years with a lot of love. Will you open your heart to sweet Audrey?

👍🏻 Weight: A bit overweight at 25 lbs. (monitor those snacks!)  

🐾 Circumstances: Owner surrender

❤️ Health:  Sadly, Audrey came to rescue with many health issues to address. CRF is still addressing a few. The good news is her heart is strong and is responding well to treatments. However, it’s possible that once her ear infection has cleared up, she will be hard of hearing or even deaf. She is responding to hand signals. Happy healing Audrey.

✔️ Preferably a quiet household where someone is home most of the time.

✔️ Another calm companion would be okay but not required.   

✔️ Dedication to any medical needs.

🚩If you do not check ALL of the above requirements, your application will not pass the screening process for consideration. We do not compromise on these requirements as we feel they are essential to a successful adoption.
