Alex & Abby

St. Petersburg

Bonded 'cause we understood ♫

There's one perfect fit ♪

And, sugar, this one is it ♫

We both are so excited 'cause we're bonded . . .

Beautiful Alex and Abby are in love and not reunited, because they’ve always been together . . . and need to always be so.

This Blenheim duo are pretty much the definition of a bonded pair. You might think there’s velcro in that fur, they frequently cuddle so tightly. Come nighttime, they can be found happily piled on top of each other in their crate, though we don’t doubt they might be open to a group cuddle in the big bed.

The younger Alex is simply a super happy pup that is generous with the cuddles, freely offering his belly. He’s described as a go-lucky free spirit and still oozes that puppy feeling. Alex loves a good run-around as a way to let that energy out, so a fenced yard is essential.

Big sister Abby just adores her brother and is a gentle girl, the calmer of the two. She is an avid hunter though, loving a good chase after lizards, squirrels, and even cats, so your safety is guaranteed. Food is important to her and give a good shake to a treat bag and you’ll have Abby’s attention.

Alex and Abby, together always, are now just looking for a new two-legged companion or two to join their love fest. Want to be bonded? It feels so good.

🐶 Age: Alex is 5 years old, and Abby is 9 years old.

👍🏻 Weight: Both at 13 lbs.

🐾 Circumstances: Owner surrender due to health.

🐕 Temperament: A pair of lovers for certain.

❤️ Health:: Alex is in great health overall but he has a few missing teeth. Abby does suffer from Caudal Occipital Malformation Syndrome, or COMS, a not uncommon condition in Cavaliers that, in short, pinches the spinal cord and can be painful. She’s on gabapentin, a common medication and she will be having a further neurological evaluation. Abby also has a grade 4 heart murmur and will need to see a cardiologist twice a year. CRF microchips all rescues.

🏡 Forever Home Requirements:

✔️ Preferably an at-home adult most of the day.

✔️ A fenced yard is needed.

✔️ Particular attention and care for Abby’s neurological condition.
