Hello Cavalier Rescue fans! We’re so pleased to introduce you to Simon. Now this poor fellow just lost his elder family, but has proved resilient and happy now in his foster family, complete with two Cavalier sisters. It’s a work in progress, as he can be a bit over-exuberant and seems to lack some training. He adores his foster Dad, is housetrained, and sleeps well at night in his crate. And this fellow goes a bit crazy when he sees lots of balls at a kid’s soccer game.

Simon is curious, gentle, and smart. He is very observant and, like most Cavies at the end of the day, loves to cuddle on the couch and get his belly rubs!

Now let’s play a game, one you all know. It’s Simon Says, and you know the rules, if he says Simon Says at the beginning, you do it. Okay, we’ll let him start the game.

Simon Says look at me, I’m a beautiful Tri-color boy!

Simon Says throw me a ball! (we love to play!)

Simon Says give me a treat! (who doesn’t like a snack)

Good, good, you’re all doing well so far.

Simon Says for gosh sake, adopt me already!

🐶 Age: 8 years old.

👍🏻 Weight: 16 lbs.

🐾 Circumstances: Owner’s passing.

🐕 Temperament: Perfectly balanced boy with oodles of love!

❤️ Health: Simon is mostly in good health. Cardiologist work-up shows low grade murmur - no meds needed at this time. He came in with an ear infection that is being cleared.  Soon he will have some dental work done, and a cardiology further evaluation. CRF microchips all rescues.

🏡 Forever Home Requirements:

✔️ Preferably an at-home adult, and no young children in home.

✔️ A fenced yard to play in is in order.

✔️ A commitment to finishing some overdue training.

💸 Adoption Donation: $500

🚩If you do not check ALL of the above requirements, your application will not pass the screening process for consideration. We do not compromise on these requirements as we feel they are essential to a successful adoption with Simon.
