Madeleine

Sarasota

Another beautiful Blenheim has joined our CRF family! Introducing Madeleine, the sixth of our Baker’s Dozen.  She is sweet and lovely and like a little French butter cake – she is delightful, light in spirit, yet reserved and deliciously adorable.

Madeleine quickly adapted to the newfound love and care in her foster home and has been excellent at reliably going outside with the other pups to do her business.  She’s confidently walking two miles on a leash and excited to greet small dogs. Madeleine sleeps happily in the big bed now and doesn’t even snore. She’s a good eater and has free run of the house. A tad reserved at first, Madeleine has warmed up and loves sitting next to her foster paw-rents. Although sister to Julienne, they are not bonded in the traditional sense, and they will be adopted separately.

Delicious Madeleine is such a joy! She’s a cuddler just waiting for her new fur-ever home!

🐶 Age: Madeleine is 5 years old.

👍🏻 Weight: 18 lbs.

🐾 Circumstances: Breeder surrender, one of the Baker’s Dozen.

🐕 Temperament: Another sweetheart learning to love being rescued!

❤️ Health: Upon arrival, Madeleine was treated for fleas and bathed. She weighs 18 pounds. Examined by Dr. Jolene Retean at Palmer Ranch Animal Clinic, Madeleine most notably is being treated for blackened, thickened skin (hyperpigmentation) on her chest area which is most likely due to lying on concrete. Luckily, her heart appears to be clear.   Madeleine is being treated for hookworms and has Grade 2 dental disease which will be addressed during her spay surgery. She has small opacities in both eyes and will be scheduled to see a board-certified veterinary ophthalmologist. CRF microchips all rescues.

Happy healing, beautiful Madeleine!  We love you!  XO
