Sapphire
Adopted!
Say hello to Sapphire, the eighth of the Treasured Ten pups. Sapphires are eye-catching precious stones that are next to diamond in hardness, strength and luster. As a stone signifying wisdom, royalty, prophecy and divine favor, the sapphire is a symbol of not only power and strength but kindness and wise judgment.
Tri-color Sapphire embodies all these traits. Leaving a long life of breeding behind has been a little scary for Sapphire but she is slowly coming out of her shell and learning to trust people. Described as very timid but sweet, Sapphire likes snuggling with her foster sibling and enjoys meeting new people and other dogs.
She is learning many firsts – how to walk on a leash, playtime, and eating on a regular schedule. Sapphire currently sleeps in her crate but is beginning to understand that there is a wonderful world outside to enjoy! With time, patience and understanding this girl will make a wonderful family pet.
Here's to a life of rest and relaxation for Sapphire! This beautiful girl deserves it.
