Rupert

Greet ravishing Rupert, a very lovable big furry boy. And we do mean big – both he and Benji (who arrived together) are taller and longer in stature than most Cavs. More love to go around! This handsome boy is super sweet and sure to capture your heart.  ❤️

Keeping a schedule has helped Rupert settle in quickly. Feeding time is carefully monitored so he doesn’t overeat. Outdoor time for play and potty coupled with regular walks have helped him lose a few pounds and gain some energy. In fact, Rupert love to be outside and have learned that playing with his foster siblings is a blast!

Walks have become a super fun activity as well. Tri-colored Rupert stays close and wags his tail. Both are great with people and dogs they meet. True Cavalier! 

This delightful pup will quickly become your shadow. When home alone he is left in a safe space with his dog bed and does just fine. Sleeping through the night is something he excels at; Rupert seems to prefer the floor next to the bed. Perhaps that will change over time. Soft snoring will be heard, but Rupert is a perfect purr-er. LOL.

🐶 Age: Rupert is 4.5 years old. 

👍🏻 Weight: Rupert was 52 lbs. at intake with a goal of 40 lbs.

🐾 Circumstances: Owner surrender.

❤️ Health: Rupert has been vetted and is in good health generally. He has lost a few pounds but need to lose more to attain his ideal weight.

CRF microchips all rescues.

🏡 Forever Home Requirements:

✔️ Someone home most of the day to keep him company.

✔️ Willingness to ensure a healthy weight is maintained.

✔️ He enjoys being outdoors for extended periods of time so a fenced yard would be ideal.
