Makenna

Presenting Mekanna! The name Makenna is of Irish and African origin and means “happy one.” And true to her name, Makenna is a happy-go-lucky girl. This cute-as-can-be sweety loves her morning strolls, especially ones where she gets the chance to chase those darn geckos. Silly girl.   

Makenna would do best in a calm environment. Quick movements and too much activity can overwhelm her. Makenna loves to be with her humans and will whine if left alone too long–which in Cav-time means 5 minutes! Trips to the vet are also not something Makeena enjoys, she’d rather run out the door the moment she enters.

You’ll need to be strong at mealtimes, Makenna is the “cute beggar.” With all her charm she is hard to resist. Her other cute antics include trying to wiggle her way into your arms for attention and enthusiastically shaking her soft toys by the ears.   

Did we mention cute? This beautiful Blenheim is true to her breed. Makenna has a very soft coat and a chestnut Queen’s thumbprint in the middle of her forehead. Cute, cute and cuter!

❤️ Health: Makenna requires a dental to address the issues with her teeth. She also has a mass in her right ear that will be removed and assessed during her dental surgery. She has been seen by a cardiologist and has a 4/6 murmur. Medication has started and a follow-up visit is needed in 6 months.

🏡 Forever Home Requirements:

✔️ A quiet home with someone around most of the time. Older children are ok.

✔️ Another small, calm dog would be fine (but not necessary) however, no cats please.

✔️ Daily walks for exercise and exploring.

✔️ Commitment to continued medical care as needed.

💸 Adoption Donation: $650

🚩If you do not check ALL of the above requirements, your application will not pass the screening process for consideration.  We do not compromise on these requirements as we feel they are essential to a successful adoption with Makenna.
