Angus

Here comes gentle giant Angus, a simply adorable Black and Tan boy. And the measure of his love is equal to his size! Angus has the most beautiful face and always looks like he has a smile on his face. 

Like so many of our rehomed Cavaliers, Angus has had to adjust to his new life, yet is coming along wonderfully. He happily adopted his foster sisters and enjoys his walks with them, handling perfectly on his leash and harness. There’s still some basic training to master, but this smart fellow wants to please.

Angus’s sweet temperament shines throughout the day, and his narrative reads like a dating profile. Loves long walks on the beach, snuggling on the couch, and a good belly rub.  He is used to being with his people even if it’s just sleeping peacefully in a dog bed in the home office.

He’ll spend the night contentedly in a pen nearby and come daytime, adores having his gorgeous locks brushed. Green beans are a favorite healthy treat but save the carrots and blueberries for others. 

Angus is a titan of love with such a bright future ahead of him. Could it be with you?

🐕 Temperament: A lovable gentle giant!

❤️ Health: Angus is a big boy but is overweight and needs to lose 5 pounds or more. He has those trick knees, luxating patellas on both back legs, and getting back in shape should help, but he has been started on some pain relief meds and joint supplements. He uses steps to get up on that sofa. An ear infection was treated, and he has an ophthalmology appointment to review a possible cataract. The wonderful news is that he has a clear heart.

🏡 Forever Home Requirements:

✔️ Preferably an at-home adult most of the day.

✔️ Dedication to continuing care for weight loss to support his knees. 

✔️ Commitment to daily walks/exercise to help maintain his health and weight loss.

✔️ Fenced yard for roaming and playtime preferred.

💸 Adoption Donation: $650
